Salah To Stay. Al Ittihad To Return With Another Transfer Bid.

Liverpool had rejected a £150 million offer for Salah from Al Ittihad on Deadline Day, bringing relief to the club and its supporters. However, the Saudi Pro League transfer window remains open for another six days, leaving the possibility of Al Ittihad making another attempt to secure the services of the Egyptian forward.

While Liverpool has consistently maintained that Salah is not for sale, their resolve is likely to be tested again in January or next summer, as Al Ittihad remains determined to pursue their dream deal. At some point, an offer may come that proves too enticing to reject.

According to Sky Sports News’ Vinny O’Connor, “On Deadline Day, our information was Al Ittihad were potentially going to go higher and come back with a revised offer but that offer hasn’t materialised yet.”

Furthermore, there seems to be a sense of respect from the Saudi Pro League towards Liverpool, as they are cautious not to repeatedly submit bids and potentially irritate the club. As of now, it appears that the situation will settle, but Al Ittihad’s interest is far from over, and they have not ruled out returning with an improved offer.

Al Ittihad is willing to offer Salah a staggering £1.5 million per week, which would make him the highest-paid player in Saudi football. On Liverpool’s side, a sale becomes more attractive as time goes on. Looking ahead to next summer, with Salah entering the final year of his contract and in his early 30s, a £100 million offer becomes a compelling business proposition.

Salah to stay at Anfield

For the time being, Liverpool continues to regard Salah as a key player, as evident by their efforts to secure him with a new contract worth £350,000 per week, making him the highest-paid player in the club’s history.

Salah also remains a top performer in the Premier League. However, as time passes, the likelihood of an improved offer from Saudi Arabia becomes increasingly plausible.
